But nowadays, women also use hair pieces in the form of extensions to enhance the beauty of their crowning glory. Hair pieces do face competition from alternate methods of combating hair fall. Thus there is a lot of research going on to modify these items and to further diversify their use. They are nowadays available in the form of modified extensions, wigs, transplants and weaves.
